Auto Ownit and Auto Share are two connected, growing vehicle businesses operating from our Perth branch. Auto Ownit helps ABN customers into a vehicle through rent-to-buy, while Auto Share offers flexible vehicle rental for all people. We pride ourselves on great vehicles and even better customer experiences.

About the role

This is a customer-facing role focused on matching customers to the right vehicle solution — rent-to-buy through Auto Ownit and rental through Auto Share — and guiding them from first enquiry to a confident decision. Alongside this, you will be a genuine team player, pitching in to keep the branch running and our vehicles ready for customers across both businesses. No two days are the same.

Key responsibilities

Leasing & sales (primary focus)

●      Engage with customers in person, by phone and online, and understand what they need.

●      Explain rent-to-buy and rental options clearly and guide customers to the solution that suits them.

●      Respond to enquiries and follow up leads promptly to turn interest into signed agreements.

●      Build genuine rapport and deliver an outstanding, honest customer experience.

●      Maintain strong knowledge of our vehicles, products and offers.

●      Work towards individual and team targets, and keep accurate records of customer interactions and agreements.

Supporting Auto Ownit & Auto Share (required)

●      Prepare, clean, refuel and ready vehicles for delivery, handover and Auto Share rentals.

●      Support the vehicle registration process and get new cars road-ready.

●      Fit registration plates and plate frames, and apply branding stickers and decals before delivery.

●      Pick up and drop off vehicles for repairs, servicing and inspections as required.

●      Help keep the branch clean, tidy and presentable, and assist customers on site.

●      Assist the team and management with other duties as reasonably required.

About you

●      A natural people-person who enjoys helping customers and can build trust quickly.

●      Motivated by results and keen to meet sales goals — sales experience is a plus, but the right attitude matters most.

●      A current, valid Australian driver’s licence is essential — driving vehicles is part of the role (a manual licence is an advantage, but not essential).

●      Reliable, presentable and happy to roll up your sleeves and support the wider team.

●      Comfortable juggling sales with hands-on tasks across both businesses.

●      Prior experience in vehicle sales, car rental, automotive or customer service is an advantage.

●      Spanish or Portuguese fluency is highly advantageous.
