A well-established Registered Training Organisation is seeking a practical, confident and safety-focused High Risk Work Trainer and Assessor to join its growing team.

About the role
You will deliver engaging classroom and practical training and assessment across a range of High Risk Work Licence and short courses.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering compliant classroom and practical training
Conducting fair, consistent and evidence-based assessments
Creating a safe, professional and supportive learning environment
Helping students develop confidence and practical workplace skills
Completing training and assessment records accurately
Maintaining current industry knowledge and vocational competency
Contributing to resource validation and continuous improvement
Building positive relationships with students, clients and colleagues
Supporting a strong culture of safety, quality and customer service
What we’re looking for
Applicants may hold experience and licences across one or more of the following areas:
High Risk Work licences
Rigging – Basic, Intermediate or Advanced
Scaffolding – Basic, Intermediate or Advanced
Dogging
Forklift
EWP
Crane operations – including CV, CN, C2, C6, C1 or C0
Personnel and materials hoists
Short-course and civil qualifications
Earthmoving machinery
Working Safely at Heights
Confined Space Entry
White Card
Other construction, civil or safety-related qualifications
Essential requirements
A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or another qualification meeting current RTO trainer and assessor requirements
Current industry licences and relevant vocational experience
Strong communication and practical demonstration skills
A genuine commitment to safety and student development
Good organisation and record-keeping skills
Current Australian working rights
Ability to obtain or maintain a National Police Check
Current driver licence
Accreditation as a Queensland High Risk Work Licence assessor will be highly regarded. However, experienced industry professionals with strong training skills are also encouraged to apply.
