Duties include the following:

• Perform hand layup and vacuum bagging of fiberglass, resin, and core materials to fabricate boat hulls, decks, and components.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and laminate schedules.

• Prepare and mix resins, gel coats, and other composite materials to the correct ratios and specifications.

• Cut, fit, and laminate fiberglass cloth, mat, and core materials to achieve required strength and finish.

• Operate machinery and hand tools for cutting, grinding, and finishing composite surfaces.

• Conduct quality inspections to ensure laminates meet our high standards and specifications.

• Identify and repair any imperfections or defects in laminated components.

• Collaborate with our engineering and design teams to bring innovative ideas to life.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including correct handling and storage of resins and chemicals.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following:

• Previous experience as a fiberglass laminator.

• Sound knowledge of composite materials, resins, and lamination techniques.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

• Willingness to work in a dynamic team environment.

• Ability to work with precision and meet deadlines.

• Willingness to learn and develop skills.
