About the role
Tailored Learning (TL) Case Manager – Salisbury High School
Salisbury High School is an outstanding place for children to access a quality education. With a rich history of achievement, the school continues to deliver exceptional learning environments that result in highly successful academic results and foster personal growth.
We currently have an opportunity for a Tailored Learning Case Manager to join our fun and collaborative site, based in the Northern Suburbs. The position is a 12-month position 37.5 hours per week, commencing in January 2027.
The TL Case Manager is responsible for the support of disengaged students in their social and emotional wellbeing, encouraging their continued connection with school through provision of case management services and access to accredited flexible learning.
What you will need to be successful in the role:
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and establish successful working relationships with students, staff, parents/caregivers, external agencies and the wider community.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively, under limited direction, and meet deadlines; plan and prioritise tasks whilst exercising judgement, initiative and problem-solving skills with a diverse range of adolescents and their families.
Knowledge and understanding of counselling processes, restorative practices, ethical issues, legal obligations and confidentiality.
Successful experience in working with a range of agencies and community-based organisations which support the needs of adolescents and families
Case management of students that has led to successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
You will be required to hold (or be working towards) one of the following qualifications:
Certificate IV or Diploma in Youth Work or Youth Justice
Bachelor in Social Work or Psychology
Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Child Protection)
