About the RoleThe HR & Recruitment Coordinator provides comprehensive HR and recruitment coordination and administrative support across the employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, employee engagement and HR operations.
Working closely with the HR Manager, Hiring Managers and employees, you will help ensure HR processes are delivered efficiently, accurately and consistently across the business. This is a highly hands on role suited to an organised, proactive and people focused HR professional who enjoys working in a fast paced, growing business environment and is looking to build their career within a dynamic automotive organisation.
What You'll Be DoingProvide day to day HR administration and coordination support to the HR Manager
Coordinate recruitment activities from approved position requisition through to appointment
Prepare and post job advertisements across relevant recruitment platforms
Coordinate candidate applications, screening and interview processes
Schedule interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and Hiring Managers
Coordinate reference checks and other pre-employment screening requirements
Maintain accurate recruitment records, recruitment trackers and talent pipelines
Coordinate new employee onboarding and ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed
Assist with employee engagement activities, events and internal HR communications
Assist with HR reporting and maintaining accurate people data
Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases and HRIS information
Support the implementation and administration of HR policies, procedures and people processes
Support the HR Manager with HR projects, initiatives and continuous improvement activities
You will ideally have:
3–4 years' experience in HR, recruitment or a similar people-focused role
Previous experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, Recruitment Coordinator or similar position
Experience supporting recruitment processes from job advertising through to onboarding
Strong HR administration and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
Experience working with an HRIS or recruitment system is desirable
Experience in the automotive industry is desirable but not essential
