Electrician

Join a growing WA business as we begin to offer electrical services to our 250+ clients in Perth. We are looking for an A grade electrician to join the team & lead our electrical pathway.

As our Electrician, you'll be the face of Perth Test and Tag Solutions on-site, delivering electrical repairs, fault finding, installations across the industrial & commercial space. You will assist with completing detailed electrical reports for multiple insurance companies & potentially expanding workload in the insurance space.

As we begin to offer electrical services, to manage workloads you will be required to compete electrical testing & tagging, RCD testing and emergency lighting assessments until our workload is expanded. However our priority will be to have your workload filled with electrical a workload.

Different sites, different clients, and real variety in the work. You'll have genuine input into how the electrical side of the business grows, backed by a close-knit team that values communication, reliability, honesty, and doing the job properly.

Perth Test and Tag Solutions is a growing provider of electrical and fire compliance testing services across Perth and surrounding areas, with expanding opportunities throughout regional Western Australia.

We help businesses maintain safe workplaces through comprehensive testing and inspection of electrical appliances, RCDs, portable fire equipment, emergency systems, rigging equipment and safety equipment.

We are a small but highly supportive team that values professionalism, reliability, and doing the job properly.

We've just been issued our electrical contractors licence, and we're looking for an Electrician who wants more than a job doing the same thing on the same site every day. This role puts your licence to real use: hands-on testing work, direct client contact, and a genuine say in shaping the electrical side of the business as it grows.

We're looking for a mature, dependable individual who has demonstrated long-term commitment in previous roles and brings real workforce experience to the position. The ideal candidate is reliable, honest, and takes pride in doing things properly. They contribute positively to the team, share knowledge, and add genuine value through their work ethic, attitude, and professionalism in the field.

You'll join our team carrying out:

• Commercial & industrial electrical repairs, fault finding & installations across hundreds of various sites in Perth.

• Complete detailed electrical appliance reports for equipment affected by insured events for multiple insurance companies.

• Electrical testing and tagging of single and 3-phase appliances in compliance with AS/NZS 3760:2022

• Testing of Residual Current Devices (RCDs) to AS/NZS 3760:2022 standard & WHS regulations

• Thorough inspection and testing of portable fire equipment and hose reels as per AS 1851

• Testing and maintenance of exit and emergency lighting systems

• Testing and inspection of rigging equipment

• Working across various locations in Perth, with occasional travel within Western Australia

• Exceptional communication skills. 

• Strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning.

• Flexibility and adaptability to changing systems and procedures.

• Confidence communicating with people; this role is customer facing with new clients daily

• Electrician Licence (WA)

• Electrical Nominee status (not mandatory. We can supply to training for this if not obtained)

• Current unrestricted full Australian drivers licence

• Clean, current National Police Check

• National construction induction certificate (White Card)
