Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our team across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Moreton Bay, Ipswich, Logan, Caboolture, Gympie, Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas.
The Opportunity
This contractor role offers exceptional flexibility, autonomy and support.
You will primarily work from home while providing services in participant homes, schools, workplaces and community settings. We can tailor your caseload based on your preferred age groups, experience and areas of interest.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
Develop and review Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)
Deliver evidence-based behaviour support interventions
Work collaboratively with participants, families, support workers and stakeholders
Provide training and coaching to support teams
Monitor participant outcomes and review strategies as required
Manage Restrictive Practice requirements in line with NDIS Commission guidelines
Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and reporting
About You
You are passionate about improving the lives of people with disability and have a strong understanding of contemporary behaviour support practice.
To Be Successful You Will Have
NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner suitability (Core, Proficient, Advanced or Specialist). Rate based on level of competency.
Experience conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments
Experience developing Positive Behaviour Support Plans
Knowledge of the NDIS Behaviour Support Framework and Restrictive Practice requirements
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong time management and organisational abilities
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
Essential Requirements
NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner Registration
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Working with Children Check (where applicable)
Current Driver Licence
Reliable motor vehicle
Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Education or related discipline
Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain)
