Nursery Hand

Delta Wholesale Nurseries is a busy wholesale/production nursery located in Yandina. We are currently looking for a motivated person to join our small team. We are an expanding business, seeking an experienced nursery hand or horticulturist to carry out a variety of tasks.

Tasks will include dispatching plants to our customers, potting, maintenance on product in the field, fertilising, weeding and other general nursery duties. This is an outside job, and will involve carrying and stacking plants as well as weeding/cleaning and other maintenance. A reasonable degree of physical fitness will be required. We are a small team, so the successful applicant will need to be motivated to work on their own, or with others. Experience/knowledge of nurseries and the industry will be required.

We are currently recruiting for a casual position. We would prefer a candidate to fill the role for 5 days a week, although an experienced candidate will be considered for a 4 day a week option. The position is available for an immediate start. Wage will be above award with initial expected hours to be Mon-Thursday 7am-4pm and Friday 7am to 12pm.
