Experienced Paramedic and Experienced Intensive Care Paramedic

To be eligible to apply as an experienced paramedic or experienced intensive care paramedic, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a permanent resident or Citizen of Australia or New Zealand or hold full rights to work in Australia (no sponsorship will be provided by SAAS)
• Must be registered with AHPRA in the Paramedicine profession
• Have successfully completed a Paramedic Internship or equivalent work history
• Have experience as a practicing Paramedic relevant to the role
• Hold or be willing to obtain a current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (Unsupervised Contact with Vulnerable Groups) and South Australian Working with Children Check
• Hold a current unrestricted Driver’s Licence valid in South Australia (license must meet SA driving requirements – i.e., class C).

Applicants must also met the required Pre-Employment Medical & Functional Assessment activities and assessments ensuring compliance with SA Health care worker immunisation and screening requirements as outlined in the SA Health Policy Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening, and vaccination policy.
