Compliance Officer

Job Purpose

We’re looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join our Landside Logistics team, based in Yennora, NSW. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help keep our transport operations safe, compliant and operating at their best. You’ll work closely with operational teams, drivers and subcontractors to manage risk, identify improvements and ensure regulatory requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive compliance across fleet and transport operations, ensuring alignment with NHVR, HVNL, Chain of Responsibility and relevant legislation

• Manage fleet accreditations, permits, licences, maintenance schedules and compliance documentation

• Investigate incidents, breaches and non-conformances, identifying risks and supporting corrective actions

• Coordinate onboarding, training and ongoing compliance for employees and subcontractors

• Partner with operational teams, offshore support and regulators to resolve compliance matters and strengthen processes

• Analyse compliance and fleet data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement

 Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:

• 5+ year’s experience in transport compliance

• Strong knowledge of NHVR, HVNL, CoR, Mass Management, Load Restraint and Maintenance Management

• Experience with systems such as Containerchain, Gearbox, TN360, Guardian and MT Data

• Strong attention to detail, integrity and risk management skills

• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills

• Proactive approach to safety, compliance and continuous improvement
