Freight Officer - Forklift Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse & Forklift Operator to join our team based in the Townsville, Queensland. This role is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and movement of freight and inventory within a fast-paced warehouse environment. About the role:

Centurion is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse & Forklift operator to join our on growing team. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks with a forklift, stock replenishment, RF scanning, inventory control, freight handling, stock movements, and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations. You will play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately while maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

The successful candidate will have previous warehouse experience, a current forklift licence, and confidence operating forklifts. You will be a reliable team player with strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.

Skills and Experience:

•             Operate forklift Counterbalance

•             Load, unload, and move freight throughout the warehouse.

•             Handle general, ugly, palletised and oversize freight

•             Previous experience in a fast-paced operational environment or warehouse

•             High attention to detail and accurate data entry

•             Reliable and Punctual

•             Capacity to lift and carry heavy objects

•             Able to work independently and in a team

•             Strong customer service and communication skills

•             Working with RF scanners to ensure accuracy and compliance

•             Responsible and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
