Job title: Occupational Therapist - Clinic/Grad/Training - Canberra Hours: 38 hours/week Salary: Up to $109K (Depending on Experience) + Super + Travel + up to $20K PD
Location: Canberra ACT Roles & Responsibilities: A fantastic opportunity to be exposed to a vast variety of patient conditions and patient streams.
With a strong NDIS focus, you will have the opportunity to tailor the role towards an assessment or therapy-based mixed caseload including Paediatric and Adult clients. Functional / Activities of Daily Living Assessments and Support Needs recommendations
Assistive Technology Assessments for people with simple and complex needs and the opportunity to expand your skills/expertise. Fine Motor and Gross Motor therapy Housing needs Assessments including SIL /SDA or ILO accommodation options.
Developmental Milestone Assessments for early intervention (0-5) and / or school aged (5-12) children Sensory Assessments and Interventions Emotional Regulation and Behavioral strategies working with Parents / Carers / Teachers (in-clinic, homes and schools).
1:1 Therapy - evidence based and goal orientated interventions. 24-Hour seating and positioning assessment and implementation of recommendations Adult Therapy (including group or 1:1 sessions)
Manual Handling Assessments and Training Benefits: Regular clinical supervision & mentorship with industry leading CD program
Access to up to $20k of Professional Development (scaled on experience) Competitive base salary + commission and bonus structure available Tailor your own caseload (assessment / therapy)
Regular Clinical Supervision and mentorship Essential Criteria: AHPRA Registration
Degree in Occupational Therapy Must provide a working with Children Check & National police Check. Current driver’s license and own vehicle are essential
