Are you a passionate, confident and driven Dietitian looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? ORS is growing, and we’re seeking our next Dietitian to join our NDIS division in a role where you can make a meaningful difference.

This position is ideal for a clinician who is also keen to contribute to marketing and advocacy initiatives that help drive referrals and grow our Dietetics team.

You will join an expanding Dietetics team, delivering clinical services to participants aged 0–65 across the northern suburbs of Perth. You’ll work across early intervention, school-aged, adolescent and adult services, supporting clients with a wide range of presentations, diagnoses and disability types.

For this role we are seeking a Dietitian to commence initially on a part-time basis, 3 days per week servicing from our Joondalup office. The goal is to increase the caseload over the coming months to become a full-time position.

We also welcome applications from Dietitians who have an interest in Positive Behaviour Support. ORS is the largest employer of Behaviour Support Practitioners in Australia; we will provide fully funded training and supervision for you to become a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner. This experience will add extra depth to your clinical skills and give you the tools to solicit positive change to your clients’ dietary behaviour.  

The role includes:

• Nutritional assessments, counselling, education, support and planning
• Healthy eating support for people with physical and/or psychosocial disabilities
• Guidance for chronic health conditions including diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, IBS and IBD
• Meal time management plans
• Fussy eating interventions
• Tube feeding plans
• Meal planning
• Support for eating disorders

You’ll work across a variety of settings including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth and ORS offices.

What you’ll need:

• Minimum 6 months’ experience in private practice and/or disability sector
• Membership with Dietitians Australia (APD)
• A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities to reach their goals
• Knowledge and experience in disability
• An interest in developing your clinical skills as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with inhouse training opportunities.
• A car and driver’s licence
• National Police Check, Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or the ability and willingness to obtain these before commencement
