About the Role:
We are seeking a Night Registered Nurse to join our team on a Casual or Part-Time basis.
Shift Times: 10:30pm - 07:00am (Tuesday and Wednesday)
You will be based at our St Ives House, located at 97 Killeaton St, St Ives NSW 2075.
St Ives House is seeking experienced Registered Nurse to provide high level clinical care to meet resident’s individual care needs that will help enhance their quality of life. This includes ensuring that our resident care and treatments are documented to meet regulatory requirements, communicating effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and relatives as well as providing leadership and supervision to other nursing staff. This position will suit professional RNs who are flexible and passionate about aged care.
Skills and Experience:
Current AHPRA registration (Essential).
At least 2-3 years experience as an RN withing aged care in Australia (Essential)
Valid Police Check (Essential).
A good understanding of contemporary aged care, clinical practice and clinical leadership in a residential setting.
Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Ability to problem solve, negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict.
Great communicate skills and confidence to lead and actively contribute to a team.
Strive for excellence in customer service and promote an environment of harmony and trust.
Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills.
Excellent written documentation and assessment skills.
A good knowledge of the aged care accreditation standards.
Confidence in mentoring and providing supervision of PCW-DCs
Confident and experienced in supervision of other nursing staff
