Role Description The Volleyball Coach is a full-time, on-site role based in Castle Hill, NSW. The coach will plan and deliver volleyball training sessions, focusing on technical skills, tactical understanding, physical conditioning, and game preparation. Daily responsibilities include supervising practices, providing individual feedback, developing season plans, and preparing athletes for competitions and tournaments. The coach will promote safe training environments, monitor player progress, and maintain clear communication with athletes, families, and any partner schools or clubs. Additional duties may include assisting with talent identification, organizing clinics or camps, and contributing to program development and community outreach.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Volleyball skills and a solid understanding of game strategy, rules, and positional play.Candidates should possess Coaching and Training skills, including session planning, skill progression, and performance evaluation.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting with athletes, families, colleagues, and partner organizations.Candidates should possess relevant Education or certification in sports coaching, physical education, or a related field.Previous experience coaching volleyball at club, school, or academy level is highly beneficial.Ability to create an inclusive, motivating environment that supports athlete safety, well-being, and development.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with reliability in managing training schedules and competitions.Current first aid/CPR certification and appropriate working-with-children or background checks as required by local regulations.
