About the role

P&M Facade PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Window Fixer, Caulker to join our team on a full-time basis in Perth, WA 6000. This is a critical role within our building trades operations, where you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of windows and the application of caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and aesthetic excellence. Your work will be essential to delivering high-quality facade solutions to our clients and maintaining the reputation of our company as a leader in the building trades industry.

Key responsibilities

• Installing windows of various types and materials in accordance with architectural specifications and industry standards

• Installation of curtain wall and also window walling systems

• Preparing surfaces for caulking by cleaning, neat application.

• Applying caulk and sealants to window frames, joints, and gaps to ensure weatherproofing and prevent water infiltration

• Using specialist tools and equipment to achieve precise, professional finishes on all caulking applications

• Measuring and cutting materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment

• Conducting quality checks to verify that all installations and caulking meet company standards and client expectations

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment on site and disposing of waste responsibly

• Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients regarding project progress and any issues that arise

• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies at all times

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Window Fixer, Caulker or in a similar role within the building trades industry

• Strong knowledge of window installation techniques and best practices for various window types

• Proficiency in applying caulk and sealants to achieve professional, weathertight finishes

• Competence in using hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions

• Current or willingness to obtain relevant qualifications and certifications in the building trades

• A safety-first mindset and knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
