About the role

We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team at JJR Building Block Construction Pty Ltd in Mona Vale and Oran Park, NSW. This is a casual position for immediate start, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial construction projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Laying bricks, blocks and other masonry materials to construct walls, foundations, and other structures

2. Reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints

3. Measuring, cutting and shaping bricks and blocks as needed

4. Ensuring high quality workmanship and attention to detail

5. Collaborating with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and to specification

6. Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualifications in Bricklaying or equivalent trade experience

2. Proven track record of working on successful building projects

3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

6. Current driver's licence or reliable transportation
