The Venue & Role:
Tourism Adventure Group are looking for an energetic hospitality professional with strong social media expertise to be the next Duty Manager & Social Media Manager at KB's Noosa.

KB's Noosa is a Noosa institution. By far the best bar for a good time for students, backpackers, holiday-makers and locals alike. This is an amazing opportunity to manage a team at a venue that is excitingly positioned for even further growth – whilst building and amplifying its digital presence across social platforms.

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you'll balance two critical responsibilities: delivering exceptional operational standards and maximising profitability across all F&B aspects, whilst simultaneously driving KB's social media strategy and content creation. Your proven ability to take a hands-on approach to hospitality management is paramount – as is your creative flair, digital savvy and hunger to apply both within a dynamic hospitality group that prides itself on creative energy & unique offerings.

This is a hybrid role combining hospitality management and content creation, and will only be limited by your enthusiasm and work ethic. Main areas of focus will be on:

Hospitality Management:

• Providing an outstanding, entertaining and exciting venue for our patrons

• Monitoring and adjusting entertainment and products

• Revenue growth through capitalising on our existing extensive network

• Working closely with the accommodation side of the business to maximise revenue

• Managing a team and maintaining highest operational standards

Social Media & Digital Marketing:

• Creating and curating engaging, on-brand content across TikTok, Instagram and other platforms

• Building and growing our social media following through consistent, strategic posting

• Capturing the energy and vibe of KB's and translating it into compelling visual and video content

• Leveraging social media to drive foot traffic and boost venue awareness

• Collaborating with marketing efforts across TAG to amplify reach

• Staying ahead of social media trends and platform algorithm changes

Applicants must be able to show they meet our requirements:

Hospitality:

• A solid F&B skill set and proven history of working in busy bars

• Previous management history is not mandatory, but a willingness to step up is

• A willingness to step in wherever is required during a shift – entertainment, in the kitchen, cleaning and the rest

• Current responsible service of alcohol certificate

Social Media & Digital:

• Previous experience as a social media manager is preferred but not essential. If you're starting out in this world, this role could be for you!

• Examples of previous social media work (personal brand, business accounts, or agency experience acceptable)

• Understanding of platform-specific content strategies and audience engagement

• Ability to create compelling video, photo and caption content

You will need:

• Experience in busy bar/nightclub settings

• Social media management skills with hands-on experience across TikTok, Instagram and other platforms

• Demonstrated ability to create engaging, on-brand content (video, photos, stories, reels, captions)

• Sound understanding of social media analytics and what drives engagement

• Creative flair for marketing, events and promotional aspects

• Minimum intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Excel and Powerpoint, Google Drive

• Understanding of POS software

• A sound knowledge of food & beverage trends

• Consistently motivated & outgoing

• Self-starter ability with initiative and follow-through capabilities

• Drive to actively chase revenue whilst managing costs

• Ability to work well under pressure

• A hands-on work ethic managing day-to-day trade

• Comfort creating and posting content regularly, even during busy shifts
