What you’ll be doing:
The Community Engagement Supervisor is the trusted 2IC to the Manager Community Engagement, supporting the delivery of the Community Engagement and Preparedness Framework and broader community preparedness initiatives across NSW. The role provides day-to-day supervision, coordination and support to four members of the Community Engagement team, helping to ensure projects, programs and priorities are delivered on time, to a high standard, and that team members are supported in their professional development.
The role oversees the team's day-to-day activities, coordinates projects, and supports the implementation of community engagement programs, resources and initiatives. Working closely with Districts, Brigades, Area Commands and internal stakeholders, the Supervisor helps translate strategic priorities into practical activities that strengthen community preparedness and resilience.
The Supervisor also plays an important role in supporting the Manager Community Engagement with stakeholder relationships, sector partnerships and strategic projects, while helping to foster a collaborative, customer-focused and high-performing team culture.
