Durack are looking for a highly driven and focused Civil Project Engineer. Our Project Engineers are committed to delivering quality results, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications & Capabilities Required
 

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering with minimum 4 years experience

• Drivers license and Construction White Card 

• Experience in civil engineering or construction is essential, as is a professional attitude and strong work ethic

• TMR and RMS specification experience is highly regarded

Key Responsibilities
 

• Work closely with the on-site project team to ensure timely delivery of projects from a cost and time perspective

• Manage construction planning and programming

• Significant input in implementing & managing project Quality Systems and ITPs

• Major procurement, quote requests & supplier management

• Subcontractor management

• Cost tracking, monthly progress claims and reporting 

• Managing and guiding junior Engineers 

• Maintain and apply all relevant standards and polices

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently 

• Some office time also 

• Assisting with tendering as required

We are a Civil Contractor specialising in roadworks - pavement & stabilisation, culvert upgrades and DFRA flood restoration work primarily for local government. Based in South-East Queensland, we have successfully completed projects across most of regional Queensland and Northern NSW, including remote areas.
