We are strengthening our Perth operations and are seeking Armed Security Officers to join a high-performing team delivering secure, high-value transport and logistics services across the metropolitan area.
With renewed operational leadership in WA, this role is part of a broader focus on safety, professionalism, customer service, and disciplined execution in a regulated, high-trust environment.
About the Role
As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for the secure handling, transport, and delivery of high-value assets for financial, retail, and government customers. You’ll operate within clearly defined procedures, supported by structured supervision, modern equipment, and strong operational governance.
This is a full-time position (and open to casuals) offering consistent hours, penalties, and overtime opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Perform armed high-value transport and handling duties in line with company procedures and WA legislation
Maintain strict weapon safety, custody control, and compliance with firearms requirements
Operate security vehicles safely and professionally in metropolitan conditions
Execute secure loading, unloading, and custody transfer processes
Maintain high levels of situational awareness and respond appropriately to incidents
Deliver professional, respectful customer service at all touchpoints
Comply with safety, aviation-security (where applicable), and operational standards
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in armed security or high-value operations is preferred
Strong safety mindset with disciplined adherence to procedures
Physically capable of handling operational demands and manual tasks
Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
Clear communication skills and professional presentation
Essential Requirements
WA Security Officer Licence (or ability to obtain)
Firearms eligibility for occupational duties (employer supported)
Certificate II in Security Operations (minimum)
Certificate III in Security Operations (desirable)
Manual MR Driver’s Licence or willingness to obtain
National Police Clearance
Ability to pass medical, drug & alcohol, and background screening
ASIC eligibility may be required for certain duties
