Day shift labourer

Haymond Personnel is currently seeking reliable and hardworking General labourers to join a busy steel processing facility on Day shift. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are looking for ongoing employment with opportunities for growth.
 
About the Role
Working as an offsider to the Machine Operator, you will assist with the loading, unloading and movement of steel products through the production process while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained.
This is a physically demanding role in a loud industrial environment.

Monday to friday
6am-2pm, occasional overtime. Pay rate from $33.85

• Assist Machine Operators with loading and unloading steel products.
• Safely handle and move steel materials throughout the production process.
• Perform general manual handling and housekeeping duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a production team.

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Excellent communication skills.
• Current Forklift Licence (LF) with experience
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Be physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Ability to work in a noisy manufacturing environment.
• Flexibility to work day, afternoon or night shifts.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test.

Desirable (but not essential)

• Overhead Crane experience.
• Own Transport preferred.
