Spare Parts Storeperson (Junior Role)

Custom Air Queensland is an established business 33 years strong, specialising in Design, Manufacture, Supply & Installation of Custom, Sleeper Cab Air Conditioning Systems & Customised Sleeper Cabin Fit outs. Our Queensland Fit Out facility is based in Wacol Brisbane.

We have several divisions that make up our company which cover Design, Metal Fabrication, Assembly, Painting, Installation & Upholstery.

Due to the continued growth of our company, we currently have an opportunity for a Motivated Junior - Spare Parts / Inventory Storeperson to join the team with any of the below preferred qualifications and attributes.

This role requires a self-motivated, responsible person with excellent Communication skills who can work as part of a small team, reporting directly to the General Manager.

In addition, this person will as required be supporting our internal departments with Inventory control.

To be successful, you will have:

• Any  experience in a similar role would be advantageous, however training and guidance to specific product type will be provided.

• Receiving, inspecting, and organising parts and components

• Maintaining accurate stock records and updating the database accordingly

• Processing customer orders, including shipping

• Tracking movement of inventory, conduct stock counts and identify issues such as damaged or missing parts.

• Spare Parts or Parts Interpreting background would be beneficial.

• Excellent written skills

• Forklift ticket an advantage.

• Current driver’s license - mandatory - Manual Preferred

• Competent Computer Literacy

• Warehouse housekeeping skills

• Basic Mechanical aptitude & ability- preferred

• Automotive electrical understanding an advantage but not essential.

• Be clean & well presented.

• Display strong problem solving and decision-making skills. 

• Be highly motivated, willing to learn and advance yourself.

• Previous experience in a similar role (automotive preferred but not essential)

This is a full-time position Monday – Friday with opportunity for overtime.
