About the role
Zoos Victoria operates world-class zoos across four sites: Melbourne Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary, Werribee Open Range Zoo, and Kyabram Fauna Park. Our passionate team is committed to fighting wildlife extinction, with every employee playing a vital role in our world-leading zoo-based conservation organisation.
We are looking for a Senior Reporter to lead storytelling and communications for Healesville Sanctuary and other locations, identifying and delivering compelling content. Your work will promote Zoos Victoria's Fighting Extinction message and inspire visitation.
As part of the Digital Newsroom (Publicity) team, you will be the primary media and comms advocate for Healesville Sanctuary and other properties.
This is a unique and rewarding role that combines high-level skills in content creation, communications and publicity.
This role is being advertised based on its current scope, with an exciting opportunity to help shape its future direction as the organisation evolves. In this multifaceted role, you'll have the chance to:
Content creation
Publicity
Communications
If you are capable of most of the above, we can teach you the rest. If you're an accomplished media professional with at least 10 years under your belt and you're after a role that feels more like a mission than a job, this could be your next big move.
