About the role
The Energy Project offers a unique working environment. We're a small team so you'll experience a wide range of interesting projects. This includes working directly with clients across industries such as transport & logistics, manufacturing, property, education and government.
We are a long-term trusted advisor for some of Australia's largest ASX-200 listed companies but also work with and advocate for some of Australia's most vulnerable, small energy consumers.
The Energy Project exists to help clients navigate the energy transition. We work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and help them to:
Capture opportunities
Manage risks
Identify and deliver the "right" energy projects
Achieve their Net Zero goals
Create value for investors and customers
The types of projects we work on include:
Techno-Economic options analysis and feasibility studies for solar, batteries, microgrids, load connections, embedded networks, electric vehicle chargers and a variety of other energy projects.
Designing, specifying and procuring Solar, Battery and Microgrid projects (typically up to 5MW)
Providing site supervision and owners engineering advice to clients
Delivering quality assurance programs on solar and battery installations
Advising on electric vehicle charging strategies for clients
Advising on the design of solar and energy efficiency programs for government
Working with distributors to connect clients' projects to the grid
Advising on commercial, technical and regulatory aspects of embedded networks
About the role
Due to a growing pipeline of projects, we're looking for the right person to join our team to augment and grow our capacity.
About you
You're passionate about renewable energy, eager to learn and naturally curious.
You have a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Experience in renewable energy is an advantage but not mandatory.
You have strong written and verbal communications skills, with particular attention to detail when it comes to modelling or report writing.
