About the role
Be part of a team that's A CUT ABOVE™. Byrnecut is a global underground mining contractor employing over 6,000 people and operating a specialised fleet of underground equipment across Australia and around the world.
We are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Planners to join our Western Australian operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the performance and reliability of our underground mining fleet by coordinating and planning maintenance activities across site.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling preventative and corrective maintenance activities, coordinating resources, managing maintenance data and work orders, and supporting the procurement of maintenance consumables and spare parts. Working closely with site maintenance teams, you will help optimise equipment availability, improve fleet reliability, and ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures.

What You'll Bring
Relevant Trade Qualification (Australian Recognised)
Previous experience in a Maintenance Planning role
Experience in an underground maintenance environment preferred but not essential
Current and valid Australian Manual Driver's Licence
Unrestricted Australian working rights
Strong computer skills and experience using maintenance management systems
Pronto experience (preferred but not essential)
Ability to understand, interpret and follow instructions while working to deadlines
Willingness and ability to meet all pre-employment requirements, including medical, police clearance, and drug & alcohol testing.
