Where you'll be working
Based at Cumberland Hospital, you’ll join Digital Health Solutions within Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD), supporting the delivery of technology-enabled services that help clinicians, staff and communities access better healthcare. You’ll work closely with the Chief Information Officer and senior digital health leaders in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where sound business management and strong governance make a real difference.

What you'll be doing
As Manager, Office of the CIO, you’ll lead the business management functions that underpin Digital Health Solutions. You’ll bring together financial management, governance, procurement, workforce administration and operational support to ensure the CIO and leadership team can deliver strategic priorities effectively.

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and performance reporting.
• Drive governance, executive reporting, procurement, contracts, compliance and risk processes.
• Lead workforce administration, organisational establishment and workforce reporting.
• Oversee ICT asset management and corporate services, ensuring effective systems, records and controls.
• Lead and develop the Office of the CIO team, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.

1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, management, finance, commerce, public administration or a related discipline, or equivalent contemporary experience in a senior business management or operational leadership role.
2. Demonstrated experience managing business operations, including financial management, budgeting, procurement, reporting, administration and corporate governance functions within a complex organisation.
3. Highly developed financial management and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial and workforce data, prepare reports, identify trends and provide advice to support informed decision-making.
4. Strong organisational and planning skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate complex activities and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
5. Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to lead, develop and mentor staff and foster a culture of accountability, customer service and continuous improvement.
6. Demonstrated ability to manage and improve business systems, processes and controls, using effective engagement and project management skills while ensuring compliance with legislative, policy and corporate governance requirements.
7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality reports, correspondence, business cases, briefing papers and executive-level communications, negotiate outcomes and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
8. Excellent computer literacy and proficiency with modern digital tools including all M365 applications, record management systems, rostering and payroll tools and Oracle human resource and financial applications.
