About the Role

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Key Account Manager - Customer Account Manager to join our team in Canning Vale, WA. As the face of Criterion Industries for your selected accounts, you will deliver “first call resolution” and provide an exceptional customer experience that makes working with us effortless. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their satisfaction, loyalty, and trust. Acting as the key point of contact, you’ll address client needs, resolve issues, and oversee the successful delivery of products and services—all while driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Client Relationships: Develop and nurture strong, lasting relationships with your clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all sales inquiries, escalations, and transactions.
• Drive Sales Growth: Secure new project opportunities, follow up on quotes, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets. Promote new products and create tailored pricing structures.
• Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide proactive solutions to client challenges, working closely with builders and architects to ensure seamless project execution.
• Collaborate Effectively: Partner with your dedicated Customer Service Specialist to address client needs promptly. Mentor and guide them to support their professional growth.
• Ensure Client Success: Take ownership of all aspects of client satisfaction, from ensuring accurate order fulfilment to resolving any issues that arise.

Skills and Experience

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• Outstanding Communication Skills: The ability to listen to and empathise with client needs while maintaining a professional and personable approach.
• Sales Drive: A hunger to achieve and exceed sales targets, with the ability to sell value and influence stakeholders.
• Technical Product Knowledge: Confidence in understanding and promoting Criterion’s products and services (including reading technical drawings etc)
• Professionalism: Honesty, punctuality, and adaptability to changing priorities and client needs.
• Technical Aptitude: Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus.
