About the Role We're looking for an experienced Content Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our marketing team. Someone who will own the planning, production, and performance of NGIS's content, and shape clear, consistent communication across the business, internally and externally.You'll take end-to-end ownership of the content marketing calendar and use performance data and industry trends to guide those decisions rather than just executing a schedule. Alongside this, you'll translate complex technical ideas into engaging content and communications, working closely with subject-matter experts to keep messaging aligned across projects, initiatives, and channels.We're looking for someone who is curious and proactive, able to quickly build context and ask the right questions. You're comfortable working autonomously, but equally strong at collaborating with stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and owning outcomes from planning through to delivery, with a sharp eye for detail in everything you put out.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Marketing and StrategyOwn and drive the content marketing calendar end-to-end, ensuring timely, consistent, and strategically sequenced publication across channels.Develop and produce original, high-quality, engaging content across digital and traditional channels web, social, EDM campaigns.Write compelling B2B content: case studies, blogs, thought leadership pieces and newsletters that support the sales and partnerships pipeline.Optimise content for search and AI-driven discovery (SEO/AEO), using tools such as SEMRush.Manage social media channels, including scheduling, engagement, and performance tracking.Analyse content performance metrics and actively use those insights, along with industry trends and competitor activity to shape what goes on the calendar next, not just to report on what's already run.
Communications, Brand and MessagingWork with subject matter experts to translate complex technical updates into clear, engaging, business-focused content and messaging.Contribute to media, PR, and external communication opportunities where relevant.Proofread and edit all content for clarity, tone, accuracy, and consistency — strong attention to detail is essential.Ensure all content aligns with NGIS' brand, values and style guidelines, and continuously improve engagement outcomes.
Essential3–5 years' experience in content marketing, communications, marketing, journalism, or content development roles.A degree in communications, marketing, public relations or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).Demonstrated, engaging writing ability, ideally including B2B content.Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as SEMrushProven experience producing B2B content specifically, not just general content writing.A track record of owning a business-wide content marketing calendarStrong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
