Merchandiser - Perth

Direct 2 Consumer (D2C) is an award-winning promotional marketing agency. We are looking for a casual Merchandiser to represent several different brands inside stores such Coles, Woolworths, JB Hi-Fi, and Harvey Norman stores all across the Southern half of Perth, so willingness to travel is essential. The role is for 16-40 hours a week and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

PURPOSE AND MISSION

Responsible for driving education and producing knowledge within your territory, and ensuring all stores have full and eye-catching displays. Accountable for building strong customer relationships and driving retail excellence across territory.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Relationship management
• Facilitation and delivery of training regarding produce handling, storage and display training in both 1 on 1 and group settings.
• Produce merchandising in accordance with the merchandising guides
• Completion of reporting requirements
• On-shelf stock management
• Store visit compliance

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Presentation skills (ability to speak confidently to a wide variety of people)
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously within established procedures and practices, whilst seeking continuous improvement
• Highly motivated
• Willingness to learn, improve and share best practices within D2C
• Establish, develop, and maintain deep relationships with key retailers.
• Attention to detail
• You MUST have a car and a valid driver’s license. This role consists of traveling to different stores.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $33.19 per hour
