Nice to Have Skills: Understanding of ETL concepts (Extract, Transform, Load)

Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica MDM, PowerCenter, Talend, DataStage, SSIS, or equivalent

Data Warehousing concepts (EDW, Data Marts, Star/Snowflake Schema)

Data Mapping and Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documentation

Detailed Job Description We are seeking a skilled Onshore ETL Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and data engineering teams. The role involves analysing data requirements, defining transformation logic, and ensuring high-quality data integration across systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analysis, ETL processes, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis

• Gather and analyze business and data requirements from stakeholders
  
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
  
• Define and document Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM)
  

Data Analysis & Profiling

• Analyze source systems, schemas, and data flows
  
• Perform data profiling, validation, and quality assessment
  
• Identify data issues, gaps, and inconsistencies
  

ETL & Data Integration Support

• Collaborate with ETL developers to:
  
• Define data transformation rules
  
• Support data cleansing and enrichment requirements
  
• Ensure data lineage and traceability
  
• Support integration across multiple systems
  

Documentation

• Create and maintain:
  
• Source-to-Target Mapping documents
  
• Data dictionaries and metadata
  
• Process and data flow diagrams
  
• Document business rules and transformation logic
  

Testing & Validation

• Develop test scenarios, test cases, and expected results
  
• Support SIT and UAT cycles
  
• Validate ETL outputs against business requirements and data rules
  

Stakeholder Management

• Act as a liaison between business, data engineers, and QA teams
  
• Facilitate discussions, clarify requirements, and resolve issues
  
• Provide regular status updates and documentation
