Associate Project Manager

This is an opportunity to build your project management career while gaining experience within a large banking and technology environment. You do not need to be an experienced Project Manager, but you should have some exposure to project coordination, project support or working within a structured delivery team.

You may currently be working as a Project Coordinator, PMO Analyst, Team Coordinator, Operations Coordinator or in another role where you have helped organise people, tasks, meetings, reporting or project activities.

What you will be doing As an Associate Project Manager, you will support Project Managers and delivery teams across a range of technology initiatives.
Your responsibilities may include:

• Coordinating project meetings, actions and follow-ups
• Maintaining project plans, registers and documentation
• Tracking milestones, risks, issues and dependencies
• Preparing status reports and project updates
• Working with stakeholders across technology and the broader business
• Supporting project governance and reporting activities
• Keeping information up to date within tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Helping delivery teams stay organised and on track

• Some exposure to project coordination, project support or PMO activities
• Strong organisation and time-management skills
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Confidence working with different stakeholders
• The ability to follow up on actions and take ownership of tasks
• Good attention to detail
• A genuine interest in developing a career in project management

Experience using Jira and Confluence would be highly regarded, but it is not essential.

The Associate Program Our Associate Program is designed to give emerging professionals the opportunity to develop their skills through structured support, practical experience and exposure to experienced project and technology professionals.

You will be embedded within a team at a Big Four bank while receiving ongoing support and development throughout the program.
This opportunity would suit someone who has gained initial project coordination experience and is now ready to take the next step towards becoming a Project Manager.
