About the role

JD Galea Painting Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable, experienced and motivated Qualified Painter to join our growing team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will work across residential and commercial painting projects, delivering high-quality finishes while maintaining professional standards and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Complete residential and commercial painting projects to a high standard

• Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, patching and priming

• Apply paints, coatings and finishes using brushes, rollers and spray equipment

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite

• Follow project specifications and painting systems

• Communicate professionally with clients, builders and other trades

• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

• Maintain company tools and equipment

About you

• Relevant painting qualification or proven industry experience

• Minimum 2 years' painting experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques

• Ability to produce high-quality finishes

• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Current driver's licence preferred

• White Card preferred
