Café Barista

We’re a busy, family-owned building company with a welcoming on-site café—and we’re looking for a passionate Barista to join our team! This role offers approximately Casual 15 – 20 hours per week Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts.

About the Role

You’ll be the friendly face behind the coffee machine, serving up great coffee and helping create a warm and relaxed café experience for our team, clients, and visitors.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing and serving quality espresso coffee and beverages

• Assisting with food prep, service, and general café duties

• Offering excellent customer service with a warm, professional approach

• Maintaining café cleanliness, including open and close routines

• Helping with stock rotation and simple restocking as needed

• Occasionally answering customer queries in person or over the phone

What We’re Looking For

• Previous barista experience in a café or similar setting

• Ability to work 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts

• Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently

• A positive attitude and strong communication skills

• Comfortable in a casual, down-to-earth team environment
