Sales & Timber Production Team Member

No woodworking experience needed — training provided!

We’re a small family-owned timber business passionate about sustainable timber and custom timber projects — from slabs to kitchen benchtops and tables. You’ll join a supportive team where your work matters every day.

This is a mixed sales and hands-on role — part client support, part timber fabrication:

What you’ll do:

• Speak with customers to choose timber and design custom pieces

• Manage sales and payment processing

• Help make timber products with training on our tools and machines

• Keep the workshop safe and organised

👉 No specialist woodworking experience required — we’ll train you fully.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Enjoy talking with people and helping them find solutions

• Have practical common sense and a willingness to learn

• Are reliable, organised and happy working as part of a small team

Bonus: Experience in retail sales (especially hardware/tool/plumbing) or timber working or other workshop skills.

• Driver’s licence and own transport (work between Lake Eacham & Topaz)

• Basic computer skills (stock lookup, EFTPOS, email)

• Comfortable with measuring and using tools safely

• Good physical fitness for lifting timber

Nice to have:

• Experience working with timber

• Truck licence (we can help you get this)

• Forklift licence (we can help here too)

• First Aid certificate (we can help here too)
