Receptionist for physio practice - Full Time and Part Time Positions Available

Kawana Sportscare is a busy, well-established physiotherapy practice on the Sunshine Coast with a strong reputation for providing excellent patient care to a loyal and growing client base.

We are looking for friendly, organised and reliable receptionists to join our front-desk team - one full-time and one part-time position available. For the right candidate there is the potential to grow beyond reception into a practice management position, taking on greater responsibility as you develop with us.

What We're Looking For

• Previous reception or customer service experience (medical/allied health reception highly regarded)

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

• Comfortable using practice management software (training provided)

• A positive, team-focused attitude

• Ambition and initiative - someone looking to grow their career with us long-term

About the role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a warm, professional experience from the moment they walk through the door or call the clinic. Your day-to-day responsibilities would include

• Greeting patients and managing a busy front desk

• Scheduling and managing appointments across multiple practitioners

• Processing payments, Medicare, DVA and private health fund claims

• Answering telephone and email enquiries

• Maintaining accurate patient records

• General support to our physiotherapy team
