CNC Machinist

An opportunity has arisen with Hallite Seals (Australia) for a CNC Machinist (permanent) based in Regency Park, Adelaide.

As our sole CNC Machinist for Adelaide, you'll have the opportunity to take full ownership of the machine shop, planning your workload, setting priorities and producing high-quality components with a high degree of autonomy. You will be responsible for the general operations of the CNC machine, including machine set-up, operation, modifying existing programs and creating new programs as required.

We are looking for a highly experienced operator with the following skills and attributes: 

If you have the following, we want to hear from you;

• 4-6 years of experience in an engineering environment or similar role.

• Experience with engineering drawings

• Experience with CNC lathe operations

• Experience in 2D programming using Siemens Controller

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines

• Initiative and sound problem-solving skills·       

Desirable:

• Experience with Siemens control systems.

• Experience with hydraulic seals

• Trade qualification or Engineering qualification (min Cert III)

Must be reliable, hardworking and motivated, with a strong focus on productivity, meeting deadlines and maintaining high output levels. Punctuality, attendance and a positive work ethic are highly valued in this role.
