Help shape the future of services that support children and young people across Australia.
yourtown is seeking expressions of interest from experienced leaders to join its services impact committee (SIC) as an independent external member.
About the role
The services impact committee supports the board in overseeing the quality, effectiveness, safety and impact of yourtown's services. The committee provides strategic advice across service functions including:
• Service quality
• Safeguarding
• Client outcomes
• Program effectiveness
• Lived experience, and
• The use of digital and emerging technologies to enhance accessibility, safety and impact.
Committee members bring independent expertise, strategic insight and constructive challenge to help ensure yourtown continues to deliver safe, high quality and impactful services for children, young people and families across Australia.
Accordingly the committee plays an important role in helping yourtown navigate changing service delivery environments, including digital transformation, innovation and emerging models of support.
Committee meetings are generally held four times per year, with meetings conducted virtually with occasional in person attendance opportunities.
About you
We are seeking leaders with executive, clinical, policy, digital, academic or community sector experience in one or more of the following areas:
Experience serving on a board, committee or advisory body will be highly regarded. We welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and lived experience relevant to the communities we serve.
Expression of interest
This is an opportunity to contribute to one of Australia's largest youth focused not for profit organisations, supporting services that reach tens of thousands of children, young people and families each year, including Kids Helpline, education and employment programs, parenting services and community programs.
