Chemist Outlet Rockdale & Rockdale Compounding Pharmacy are seeking a Pharmacist to join their patient focused team.

Our 2 Rockdale pharmacies are conveniently located within a 1-minute walk from Rockdale train station. We are an established and well-known professional care service, known and trusted in our local community. Our company is most recognised for offering a high level of service and health care with a significant focus on patient experience. We currently have 12 pharmacists between 3 pharmacies - but we wish to add more!

In addition, we have recently built a super clinic, which is attached to one of our pharmacies. The super clinic is our locals go-to healthcare hub, providing access to GPs, pathology lab, podiatrists, dentists, and physiotherapists. Our super clinic allows us to be a holistic service provider, offering a whole lot more to our patients and community.

We are seeking a candidate that has experience in community pharmacy and able to make positive contributions to help achieve our vision of being industry leaders in providing health care solutions to our community.

The role will include but is not limited to the following:

• Assist patients/customers with general pharmacy enquiries
• Prepare prescriptions accurately and efficiently and confirm accuracy of prescriptions dispensed by non-pharmacists
• Provide vaccination services
• Contribute to all possible professional services on offer
• Administrative duties where required
• Provide counselling and advice to consumers for both their medicine (both prescribed and over the counter) and their medical conditions
• Actively contribute to a positive work environment & team culture
• Ensure that all store policies and procedures are implemented and maintained
• Multi-task in different areas of the Pharmacy
• Exceptional communication skills & a positive & happy nature is required
• Be open to learning & developing next level skills within our industry

About You

This role is a full-time role and suitable for a qualified and experienced pharmacist looking to

learn, grow, develop, and refine their skills. The role available will be dynamic in that there is

a possibility of working between two pharmacy sites (one is a compound pharmacy) in

Rockdale. Alternatively, there is an opportunity to work in solely just one of the pharmacies.
