About the role
Payroll Administrator
Appselec Pty Ltd is a well-established and growing electrical services company seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced EBA environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services.
Working on-site alongside an experienced payroll team, you will play a key role in processing a large and complex payroll while providing exceptional support to employees and management.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end payroll processing
Processing payroll accurately, on time, and in accordance with EBAs and legislative requirements
Reviewing and processing timesheets, overtime, allowances, and payroll adjustments
Processing superannuation, payroll tax, and other payroll-related obligations
Maintaining employee payroll records and ensuring data accuracy
Assisting with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities
Responding to payroll enquiries from employees and management in a professional and timely manner
Assisting with continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures
Working collaboratively with the payroll team to ensure payroll deadlines are consistently met
About You
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar payroll admin role required.
Experience working within an EBA
Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Pronto payroll experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
