Maintenance Officer

About the role

The Maintenance/Grounds Person works closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure all building systems, plant, grounds, and common property areas are maintained to a high standard. This is a practical, hands on position suited to someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in maintaining a premium residential environment. This is a full time permanent role.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine building maintenance, repairs, and daily checks

• Support the Facilities Manager with scheduled servicing and contractor coordination

• Assist with the upkeep of pools, gardens, landscaped areas, plant rooms, and common areas

• Respond to Common Property maintenance requests and building issues

• Maintain compliance with WHS requirements and strata by laws

• Keep accurate maintenance records and assist with preventative maintenance programs

About you

• Strong experience in building, grounds, or facilities maintenance

• Practical trade skills and problem solving ability

• Professional communication and a customer focused approach

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the Facilities Manager

• Experience in strata or large residential buildings (preferred)
