Compliance Manager / Nominated Supervisor

About the role

St Paul & St Anthony Child Care Centre is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager or Nominated Supervisor to join the team on either a full-time or part-time basis. This is a senior position for someone with a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, regulatory compliance and the day-to-day requirements of operating a high-quality early childhood education and care service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the centre's regulatory and compliance requirements

• Support the Approved Provider, management team and educators

• Review and maintain policies, procedures and compliance systems

• Prepare the service for Assessment and Rating

• Review and maintain the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)

• Conduct internal compliance audits and identify areas requiring improvement

• Ensure educator practices align with the National Quality Standard and National Quality Framework

• Monitor documentation, staff records, training requirements and regulatory obligations

• Provide practical guidance and training to educators and responsible persons

• Implement systems that support consistent compliance across the service

About you

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Nominated Supervisor, Compliance Manager or in a comparable senior early childhood compliance role

• Strong working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard, Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations

• Direct experience with Assessment and Rating

• Demonstrated history of helping early childhood services improve their NQS performance

• Personally assisted a service rated Working Towards NQS to achieve Meeting NQS or Exceeding NQS

• Confident identifying compliance gaps and putting practical corrective measures in place

• Capable of working with educators, management and the Approved Provider to achieve measurable improvements
