About Us:

Our state-of-the-art facilities and commitment to excellence have established us as a key player in the industry. We are currently seeking a skilled Polyethylene Lab Technician to join our NATA accredited laboratory.
Job Summary:
As a Polyethylene Lab Technician at Enviro Pipes, you will play a crucial role in our product development and quality assurance processes. You will be responsible for conducting a variety of tests on polyethylene products to ensure they meet our company's strict performance standards. Your work will directly contribute to the innovation, development, and improvement of our polyethylene products.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct chemical and physical tests on polyethylene samples, including but not limited to oxidation induction and melt flow tests.
Take samples by cutting or scraping polyethylene with hand tools.
Production tests including visual inspection, measurement using hand tools, or other mechanical tests as requested.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including performing functional tests and checking calibration dates.
Record, analyse, and interpret test results, providing detailed reports to the team and other relevant departments.
Collaborate with the team to develop new testing methods and improve existing ones.
Assist in the development and improvement of polyethylene products based on test results and findings.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations of the laboratory.
Interpreting isometric fabrication drawings and product specifications.
Qualifications:
Certificate III or higher in Laboratory or Science disciplines highly regarded.
Prior Lab experience, preferably in a polymer testing environment.
Strong understanding of polymer chemistry and material science principles.
Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and conducting various material tests.
Excellent proficiency with the use of hand measuring tools.
Good visual acuity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in a laboratory setting.
