Warehouse Operators (Pick Packers)

About the Role

We are seeking reliable, physically fit Warehouse Operators (Pick / Packers) to join a dynamic team across Day and Afternoon shifts.

This is a physically demanding role operating across dry, chilled, and freezer environments. You will play a crucial role in ensuring store orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched on time while adhering to strict safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Accurate and timely picking and packing of store orders using voice picking headset systems across dry, chilled, and freezer zones (-15°C to -18°C).

• General Warehousing: Assist with receiving, storing, stock rotation, loading trucks, and managing incoming deliveries.

• Physical Work: Perform regular manual handling and physical warehouse duties in a fast-paced setting.

• Safety & Quality: Actively maintain a safe work environment in line with company guidelines, quality standards, and WHS legislation.

• Teamwork & Communication: Maintain positive communication with team members and bring a continuous improvement mindset to daily tasks.

To Be Considered, You Must Have / Be:

• Picking Experience: Proven prior experience in a warehouse or pick-packing role (experience with voice picking technology is highly regarded).

• Cold Storage Comfortable: Confident and reliable working in cold, chiller, and freezer conditions (-15°C to -18°C).

• Physically Fit: Capable of handling regular manual labour and physical demands.

• Work Ethic & Safety: Punctual, reliable, safety-focused, and a strong team player. 

• Flexibility: Willingness to undertake shift work and overtime as needed.
