At Seedlings & Co we believe children learn best when they're curious, connected to nature, and free to play. We're looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to work alongside our lead ECT in shaping and delivering our nature play program, a role built for someone who wants to deepen their skills.

This is an ideal role for a new ECT looking to grow with the support of an experienced teacher beside them or for an experienced ECT who'd like to step back from leading a kindergarten program and focus on doing what they love: great teaching, without the weight of running the room solo.

Either way, you'll be part of a genuine teaching partnership: planning together, reflecting together, and learning from each other as you bring high-quality, play-based learning to life outdoors.

What you'll be doing

• Working side by side with our lead ECT to plan and deliver a rich nature play program

• Collaborating on intentional, play-based experiences that stretch children's thinking and wonder

• Bringing the outdoors into everyday learning through loose parts, real risk-benefit, and child-led discovery

• Documenting and reflecting on learning as a team, so practice keeps getting better

• Sharing your ideas and growing your own pedagogy in a setting that backs you to try things

Who you are

• A qualified ECT who's genuinely excited by nature play and outdoor learning

• Either early in your journey and eager to learn, or experienced and happy to support rather than lead

• Someone who values development, you see feedback and collaboration as fuel, not pressure

• A team player who thrives working closely with others toward a shared vision

• Warm, curious, and reflective, with real care for children's wellbeing and belonging
