Pharmacy Assistant Part-Time

About the role

This is a permanent part-time position of approximately 20–25 hours per week, shared between Brighton Discount Drug Store and Deception Bay Discount Drug Store. The roster will include regular weekend work. Brighton is conveniently located on Brisbane's northern bayside near Sandgate and within easy reach of Redcliffe.

Key responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and providing friendly, professional service

• Assisting customers with pharmacy products and general health enquiries

• Operating the point-of-sale system and processing transactions

• Providing Lotto services to customers at our Brighton store

• Receiving, pricing and replenishing stock

• Maintaining attractive and well-organised displays

• Supporting promotional activities and catalogue changes

• Helping maintain a clean, organised and efficient pharmacy

• Working closely with pharmacists and other team members

About you

• Can work approximately 20–25 hours per week, including weekends

• Is able to work across both our Brighton and Deception Bay stores

• Has excellent communication and customer-service skills

• Is friendly, approachable and enjoys helping people

• Is reliable, organised and comfortable working in a busy environment

• Has strong attention to detail

• Works well independently and as part of a team

• Is willing to learn Lotto operations if they do not already have experience

• Previous community-pharmacy, retail or Lotto experience and relevant pharmacy-assistant training would be highly regarded; however, training may be provided to the right applicant
