Our Rosebery venue is one of Sydney’s most dynamic hospitality spaces - a large warehouse-style restaurant that hosts everything from corporate events and private celebrations to large group dining and special venue activations.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Events Manager to manage the sales, planning, coordination and delivery of events at Three Blue Ducks Rosebery.

You’ll manage your own portfolio of events from initial enquiry and sales through to planning, coordination and delivery, building strong client relationships and ensuring every event reflects the Three Blue Ducks experience.

The role combines event sales and client management with detailed planning and coordination, alongside being on the floor for key events to oversee their delivery.

Based in our Rosebery office alongside the venue, you’ll work closely with the Events team, venue management and kitchen to ensure clear communication and a seamless experience from initial enquiry through to the event day.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing event enquiries, sales, bookings and client communication

• Coordinating weddings, corporate events, private functions, large group bookings and off-site events

• Preparing event proposals, quotes and confirmations

• Managing wedding and event planning, including event briefs, supplier requirements and quotes

• Liaising with guests to understand event requirements and deliver exceptional experiences

• Creating detailed event run sheets and floor plans and coordinating logistics with the venue team

• Managing event payments, deposits and confirmations

• Maintaining accurate booking information in event and reservation systems

• Working closely with the Venue Manager, chefs and operations team to deliver seamless events

• Overseeing events and weddings on the floor, from event set-up through key stages of service

• Coordinating staff on shift, including sections and break rotations

• Moving tables, setting up spaces and adapting layouts as needed

• Liaising closely with the kitchen and Venue Manager during service

• Being the main point of contact for clients on the day

• Jumping in wherever needed to ensure the event runs seamlessly

• Ensuring events are executed to a high standard of service and hospitality

This is a role for someone who is happy to roll up their sleeves, stay close to the action, and take real ownership of the guest experience.

About You

• 4 Years previous experience in events management or hospitality events coordination

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple events at once

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Highly detail-oriented and proactive

• Confident working with guests, suppliers and internal teams

• Passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional experiences
