Glenny Kebabs is one of Melbourne’s most iconic and loved kebab spots – and we’re growing! We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Venue Manager to join our team and help lead one of our high-energy stores.

What You’ll Do:

• Support daily operations and assist the Venue Manager
• Lead and support team members on shift – FOH, grill, and team leaders
• Deliver 10/10 customer service and uphold brand standards
• Help with rostering, timesheets, and labour cost control
• Maintain high standards in store cleanliness, uniforms, and food safety
• Assist with training, onboarding, and developing staff
• Manage opening/closing checklists and daily store routines
• Conduct stocktakes, check deliveries, and upload invoices
• Help reduce wastage and improve staff productivity
• Be part of recruitment – job ads, interviews, trials, inductions
• Support software/hardware troubleshooting, store compliance, and reporting
• Assist with local marketing and weekly operational goals
• Step in as emergency fill-in if needed

Who We’re Looking For:

✅ Hospitality experience in a fast-paced food venue

✅ Reliable, organised, and solution-focused
✅ Excellent communication and customer service skills
✅ Tech-savvy with basic software skills (POS, Tanda, Restoke or similar)
✅ Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Pay: $67,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year
