ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Phoenix Power Recyclers Mechanic, you will play an integral role within our maintenance team at our Yatala site.

You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be conducting all facets of preventative maintenance and repair of mobile plant, fixed plant, heavy vehicles and site infrastructure.

This role will also require occasional field service work, attending breakdowns and maintenance tasks across various sites as needed.

ABOUT YOU

• Have trade qualifications as a Mobile Plant Technician, Heavy Commercial Vehicle or similar trade

• Auto-electrical experience an advantage

• Hydraulic experience an advantage

• Welding and fabrication experience an advantage

• Demonstrate an exceptional eye for detail

• Complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing

• Have forklift or telehandler licence (preferred but not essential)

• Have a good mechanical aptitude  

• Demonstrate a professional and outcome focus

• Work well individually and as part of a team

ABOUT THE COMPANY

An established organics recycling facility operating out of Yatala, we engage with best practice technology and with that have experienced a need to grow our resources on site.

We operate a PLC (computer controlled) organics recycling plant and will be constructing a PLC controlled liquid treatment plant. 

This opportunity allows for the right team members to be a part of exciting upcoming projects and take part in general site maintenance work. 

As an organics recycling processor, we maintain more than fifty items of equipment through our asset management platform.
