About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Store Hand and Customer Service Representative to join our team at Brookies Rural Traders' in Capalaba, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will see you play a key role in the efficient operation of our busy Rural Store. We are open to casual applicants but our strong preference is for someone looking to start a career with Brookies. 

What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for Customer Service: A genuine love for interacting with people and a dedication to providing an exceptional customer experience.

• Positive Attitude: A friendly, approachable demeanour and the ability to create a positive atmosphere for both customers and staff.

• Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a retail store or warehouse.

  • Must have experience in customer service in a retail environment.

  • Forklift licence and demonstrated experience operating a forklift safely

  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy

• Skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role

What you'll be doing

• Receiving and unloading incoming deliveries.

• Accurately picking, packing and loading customer orders

• Maintaining stock levels and ensuring the shop is kept clean and organised

• Operating a forklift to move and rearrange stock as needed

• Assisting with general shed and store duties as required
